itel has officially launched the POWER 80 in Kenya, expanding its smartphone portfolio with a 4G device built around durability, battery capacity and everyday performance.
The POWER 80 has received four independent durability certifications: SGS 5-Star Gold Drop-Proof certification, MIL-STD-810, IP68 and IP69. The certifications cover areas including drop resistance, environmental durability, water resistance and dust protection under specified testing conditions.
The smartphone uses a shock-absorption cage frame, reinforced corner buffers and sealed edges designed to protect its internal components during everyday use. The approach is intended to reduce reliance on external protective accessories.
Beyond durability, the POWER 80 features a 7,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, a 6.78-inch HD+ display, Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM expandable to 16GB and 128GB internal storage. It runs Android 16 and is available in Meteor Black, Titanium Silver and Solar Orange.
The device is available through official itel stores, Phone Place outlets, Jumia Kenya and authorised retailers across the country. The recommended retail price is KSh 19,499, although final prices may vary by retailer.
The launch adds another option to Kenya’s smartphone market for consumers seeking a combination of durability, battery life and 4G connectivity.
