Apple is expanding its iCloud+ subscription offering in Kenya, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost as part of the updated package. The rollout begins this month and marks the first time Apple TV will be available to users in Kenya.
The expanded iCloud+ offering continues to provide cloud storage for backing up, storing and sharing personal content across Apple devices, while adding access to Apple’s entertainment services. Subscribers can also use Family Sharing to share an iCloud+ subscription with up to five family members.
Apple TV will give Kenyan iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple original drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries and children’s programming. The catalogue includes titles such as Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus and the Academy Award-winning film CODA.
Subscribers will also gain access to Apple Arcade, which offers more than 200 games including Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Sneaky Sasquatch. Games are available without advertisements or in-app purchases and can be played offline on supported Apple devices.
The Kenya package will also include Apple Music Select, featuring ad-free music stations covering regional music and categories such as Top Songs, the 1980s and 1990s. Users seeking the full Apple Music catalogue can subscribe to Individual or Family plans at discounted monthly prices of $2.79 and $4.49 respectively.
Beyond entertainment, iCloud+ will retain its additional cloud storage and premium features, including event creation through Apple Invites and enhanced privacy capabilities.
Apple said the expanded iCloud+ offering will roll out across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September. In Kenya, subscriptions will start at $0.99 per month for the 50GB plan, with additional storage tiers available.
Following the rollout, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as standalone subscriptions in Kenya. Existing subscribers will retain access through iCloud+, while their individual subscriptions will be cancelled. Apple said Apple Arcade game progress and saved data will be preserved.
