KCB Foundation has partnered with CFAO Mobility Kenya to train 200 young Kenyans in automotive and electric mobility (e-mobility) skills, supporting workforce development for Kenya’s rapidly evolving transport sector.
Under the partnership, participants will receive hands-on technical training at the Toyota Kenya Academy, equipping them with practical skills in modern automotive technologies and electric mobility. The programme is designed to prepare young people for emerging employment and entrepreneurship opportunities as Kenya accelerates the transition towards sustainable transportation.
Beyond technical training, the initiative will provide entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, access to finance and market linkages, enabling participants to build sustainable businesses and careers within the automotive industry.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment by KCB Foundation and CFAO Mobility Kenya to strengthen youth employability, promote innovation and develop the skilled workforce needed to support Kenya’s growing e-mobility ecosystem.
