The Technopolis Development Authority (TDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the rollout of Kenya’s Digital Superhighway, highlighting the initiative as a key driver of digital transformation, connectivity and inclusive economic growth across the country.
According to the authority, continued investments in broadband infrastructure, the establishment of Digital Hubs and the expansion of digital public services demonstrate the government’s commitment to building a digitally connected and inclusive economy. These initiatives are expected to improve access to digital services while creating new opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship and socio-economic development.
As the agency responsible for developing Konza Technopolis, TDA said it will continue to play a central role in advancing Kenya’s national digital agenda by investing in world-class digital infrastructure, strengthening innovation ecosystems and supporting the development of smart city solutions.
The authority noted that Konza Technopolis remains at the heart of Kenya’s vision to become a leading technology and innovation hub in Africa. Through enhanced connectivity, technology adoption and collaboration, the smart city is expected to attract investment, support digital businesses and accelerate the growth of the country’s digital economy.
By aligning its efforts with the Digital Superhighway initiative, the Technopolis Development Authority aims to create an enabling environment where businesses, innovators and communities can benefit from improved digital infrastructure and expanded access to technology-driven opportunities.
