The ICT Authority of Kenya has held a joint engagement between its Board and Management to review enterprise risk management, programme performance and delivery priorities supporting Kenya’s digital transformation agenda.
The engagement assessed progress against targets for key programmes, including the rollout of public Wi-Fi, connectivity of public institutions, expansion of digital infrastructure and digital skills development.
The Board and Management also reviewed potential risks that could affect programme implementation and the achievement of set targets, with discussions focused on strengthening institutional resilience, accountability and operational efficiency.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the Authority’s leadership to align on priorities, address implementation challenges and strengthen measures aimed at accelerating programme delivery and increasing its impact on citizens.
The review comes as Kenya continues to expand digital infrastructure and access to technology-enabled public services as part of its wider digital transformation agenda.
