The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has donated computers to Komora Vocational Training Centre and St. Benedict’s Konya Secondary School in Siaya County as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, reinforcing its commitment to expanding access to digital education across the country.
The initiative is designed to strengthen digital learning by equipping students and tutors with computers that provide access to online educational resources, enhance ICT skills and prepare learners for opportunities in Kenya’s growing digital economy. By improving access to technology, the programme supports more engaging and inclusive teaching and learning experiences.
According to the Authority, the donation contributes to ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide by ensuring more schools have the digital infrastructure needed to integrate technology into education. Expanding access to ICT resources is expected to improve digital literacy while helping learners develop future-ready skills.
The Communications Authority noted that the initiative reflects its broader commitment to promoting digital inclusion and empowering young people with the knowledge and technological capabilities required to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
Through continued investments in ICT infrastructure and digital learning resources, the Authority aims to build a more inclusive, connected and digitally empowered Kenya while supporting the country’s broader digital transformation agenda.
