Samsung Electronics East Africa has launched Samsung Digital Classroom, a new education technology solution designed to help Kenyan schools deliver secure, connected and more interactive digital learning.
The solution integrates Samsung Knox for Classrooms, Samsung Tablets and Samsung Interactive Boards into a single platform, enabling teachers to manage lessons, share learning content, monitor student participation and conduct assessments while giving school administrators centralized control over classroom devices.
The launch comes as Kenya continues implementing the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and accelerating digital transformation across the education sector, with schools seeking technologies that enhance teaching, improve learner engagement and deliver measurable educational outcomes.
According to Samsung, the platform enables educators to present lessons on interactive displays, distribute content directly to student tablets and oversee classroom activities through Knox for Classrooms. School administrators can also remotely deploy, manage and monitor devices from a centralized dashboard.
Anthony Njihia, Mobile Experience B2B Manager at Samsung Electronics East Africa, said the next phase of digital education is ensuring technology creates meaningful classroom impact by supporting teachers, learners and school administrators through integrated learning ecosystems.
Samsung said the solution is designed for primary schools, secondary schools, tertiary institutions and technical training centres. The company plans to continue collaborating with education institutions, government agencies and industry partners to accelerate technology adoption in Kenya’s education sector.
The launch forms part of Samsung’s “The Future of Learning Starts Here” campaign, which aims to promote conversations around the future of digital education and connected learning in Kenya.
