Jambojet has officially resumed daily flights between Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, restoring a route that connects the two East African cities.
The revived service offers fares starting from KSh22,950 (USD170) one-way, with a total flight time of approximately 65 minutes.
Jambojet first launched the Nairobi-Entebbe route in 2018 and operated it for nearly two years. The airline says the return follows the expansion of its fleet, a strengthened network and increased operational capacity.
The airline will initially operate one flight daily, with plans to increase frequencies as demand grows. The route is expected to provide another option for travellers moving between Kenya and Uganda.
The service also connects Ugandan travellers to Jambojet’s wider Kenyan network, including destinations such as Mombasa, Diani, Malindi and Lamu.
Jambojet CEO and Managing Director Karanja Ndegwa said the airline is returning to Entebbe with experience gained from its previous operations on the route, alongside a denser network and a focus on making regional travel more accessible and reliable.
Jambojet Board Director Patricia Ithau said the airline’s regional expansion reflects its development beyond domestic connectivity as it continues to expand its network.
