ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna has announced the re-election of Daniel Ngumy as Managing Partner, effective 1 August 2026, as the firm transitions from a joint leadership model to a single Managing Partner structure.
Ngumy has co-led the firm alongside Rosa Nduati-Mutero since 2022. Following her decision not to seek re-election for a second executive term, Nduati-Mutero has been elected to the firm’s Partnership Board, where she will continue contributing to ALN Kenya’s long-term strategy, governance and institutional development.
According to the firm, the leadership transition follows four years of joint leadership during which Ngumy and Nduati-Mutero oversaw significant growth, strengthened client relationships, expanded the firm’s regional platform and invested in talent development.
Ngumy, who has been with ALN Kenya for 17 years, also leads the firm’s Tax practice and co-leads its International Trade practice. He is widely recognised for advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border tax, trade and investment matters and has held several leadership positions within Kenya’s business and legal ecosystem.
The firm said Ngumy’s re-election provides continuity as ALN Kenya continues supporting businesses, financial institutions and investors across Africa through its offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Dubai.
